Ant and Dec bid £8m for London site

Geordie TV duo Ant and Dec have bid £8m to buy a traditional Italian ice-cream parlour and restaurant in London.
The comedians are planning to convert four separate buildings - currently the site of Fouberts in Chiswick, which also includes a hotel - into a private members-only bar, nightclub and five-star hotel.
Industry sources said the pair have secured financial backing for the scheme, which will require £6m to purchase the premises and another £2m to refurbish it.
One local resident, said it was a shame because Fouberts serves the best home-made ice-cream in west London.
Fouberts' owner Maria Lodica refused to comment.
