Calling all individuals with an ambition they would like to fulfil in the hospitality industry. The Acorn Club is seeking entries for the 2002 Acorn Scholarship, a new scheme that will offer one person in the industry training, support and funding to achieve their goal. The winner will also go on trips to the USA and Europe as guests of sponsors Compass Group and Villeroy & Boch.
The scholarship is open to anyone over the age of 16 from any sector of hospitality. Candidates could be chefs, bartenders, sommeliers, food writers or even hospitality lecturers. The Acorn Club is made up of winners of the Caterer & Hotelkeeper Acorn Awards, sponsored by Caterplan.
