Award-winning Yorkshire pub sold

The Hack and Spade pub and restaurant in Whashton, Yorkshire, has been sold for nearly £275,000. The pub has a 16-seat restaurant and won the Pub Food Pub Restaurant of the Year 2001 award. Previous owner chef Adrian Barrett has bought the larger Arden Arms in South Cowton, Yorkshire, for nearly £425,000. Christie & Co was the agent in both sales.
