The Automatic HACCP Handwash Supervisor 1200 takes the form of a stainless-steel box containing dispense which provide measured does of water and liquid soap when triggered by infra-red beams. The unit is mounted over handwash sinks and its provision requires preparation staff to wash their hands to a pre-programmed and timed wash cycle. A sanitiser can optionally be dispensed after hand drying.
The unit, which is programmed with each employee's unique ID numbers, registers a successful hand wash only after the correct washing sequence has been carried out. All information is stored in the unit's memory for downloading to computer to maintain HACCP-compliant hygiene records. Price: around £1,500.
