THE winner of the 1997 AA Chefs' Chef of the Year will be announced at the Restaurant Show at London's Olympia at 4.30pm on 14 September. Hundreds of nominations have been received from chefs featured in the AA's 1997 Best Restaurants guide who are invited to put forward the name of any chef. The winner is chosen by AA restaurant inspectors based on the number of nominations each has received and chefs' comments about their skills and character.
