Remote control
It had to happen: a combi-steamer with a remote controller just like those for the TV. The "Handy" infra-red unit, available on Regethermic's new Convotherm OD Magic series and costing about £2,000, initiates any of up to 250 cooking programs from a distance of up to 20m.
OD Magic ovens also have "disappearing doors" which open through 90º then slide back into the oven sides to save space.
