MARCHESI L&P Antinori has introduced a crisp new Chardonnay from vineyards in the hills of Tuscany's Chianti region. The vintage is 1993. It is marketed under the Capsula Viola label and is available at a trade price of £42 a case from the UK importer G Belloni (071-267 1121).
THE UK agency for Champagne Philipponat has been taken on by Waverley Vinters (0738 629621). It was previously handled by John E Fells& Son.
Waverley aims totarget the premiumhotel and restaurant market.
