Degree boost
THE Cardiff Institute of Higher Education has launched three degree courses for the food and hospitality industry.
The BA (Hons) International Hotel Management, the BSc (Hons) Catering Management and MSc/Post Graduate Diploma in Food Science and Technology were designed by the institute to meet the needs of industry.
Students on the International Hotel Management course will complete a year's work placement abroad, or spend a semester studying in a foreign university followed by a short or long foreign work placement.
The Catering Management course will concentrate on recent technological changes in food production systems and equipment.
