Creggans Inn
Creggans Inn in Strachur, Argyll, has been sold for almost £575,000. The inn was owned for more than 40 years by Sir Fitzroy Maclean and more recently by his son, Sir Charles Maclean. The new owners of the 17-bedroom property are the Robertson family, who previously ran Assapol House hotel on the Isle of Mull. Christie & Co was the agent for the sale.

The Wren's Hotel Group has bought the leasehold to the 32-bedroom Christopher hotel in Eton, Berkshire, for more than £500,000.The group owns seven hotels - two in Scotland, four in England, and one in Croatia.
Compass win
Compass Group subsidiary Quadrant Catering has won a three-year contract, worth £218,000 in turnover, to provide the catering for bus operator First Hampshire. There are more than 500 drivers at the Southampton-based depot.
Abbeydale Hotel
The 11-bedroom Abbeydale Hotel in Chesterfield, Derbyshire, has been bought for close to £225,000. New owners Danes Finn and Else Nielsen previously developed in-store restaurants for Ikea. Robert Barry & Co was the agent.

The Percy Arms hotel in Chatton, Northumberland, has been sold for almost £575,000. It has seven letting bedrooms, a self-contained holiday cottage and owner's accommodation. Previous owner Ken Topham is retiring after 15 years. Christie & Co was the agent.
