David Evans

David Evans, one of the West Country's leading hoteliers, has died suddenly from a heart attack, aged 55.

Evans was chairman of the Falmouth Beach Resort Hotel, having moved to Cornwall in the late 1970s to buy the nearby Hotel St Michael's.

His widow, Hazel, and sons, James and Mark, have joined the hotel's board of directors following his death.
