The head chef of Paul Heathcote's Michelin-starred restaurant in Longridge, Lancashire, is leaving next month to be with his girlfriend in London.
BRENDAN FYLDES does not have a job to go to in London, and Heathcote is advertising for a replacement for him in Lancashire.
Heathcote, who also has two Simply Heathcotes restaurants, in Manchester and Preston, is opening his third on 2 April in Beatham Plaza, Liverpool. It will have 80 seats and an additional 26-seat private dining room.
Heathcote has found sites for more Simply Heathcotes in Leeds and Birmingham. He will open in Birmingham later this year and Leeds in February next year.
Asked if he would like to open a branch in London, Heathcote replied: "Who knows?"
