Groupe Flo no go

Groupe Flo no go

Groupe Flo is selling off some of its restaurants in London but has again denied rumours that it plans to leave the UK entirely.

The French company has sold its Café Flo restaurant in Sloane Avenue, west London, and is selling its branch in Wardour Street, Soho. A third site has also been earmarked for disposal.

Xavier Thimbault, Groupe Flo's financial analyst, said that the restaurants were being sold because they were losing money. But he added that the company remained committed to the UK. "We are definitely going to stay," he said. "Café Flo is not for sale."

Before the disposals, Groupe Flo had 13 restaurants in London.
