Harry's Hut sets sights on Wales

HARRY Ramsden's has chosen Port Talbot as the site for its first Harry's Hut in Wales.

It will be an updated version of the two Harry's Huts inPaisley, Renfrewshire, and Lisburn, Co Antrim, Northern Ireland (Caterer, 2 October 1997, page 11), and will have waitress service and a drive-through.

The fish-and-chip chain, which has plans to build 20 of the quick-service restaurants in Wales, hopes Harry's Hut will be open by the summer.

The £500,000 restaurant will be take-away based but will provide seating for up to 60 people.
