Lucky 13 for Harrison

Harrison Catering Services has bought 13 catering contracts from Yorkshire-based O'Malleys Kitchen Restaurants. The new contracts have a combined annual turnover of £2m. The contracts, in the Sheffield and Leeds area, are in the business and industry sector apart from one at a theological college. "We're delighted with this strategic acquisition, which will put us in a better position to develop our existing business and take advantage of the many opportunities in the North-west," said managing director Geoffrey Harrison. This is the first acquisition Harrison has made. Now in its 10th year of trading, the Reading company is on course to hit £22m of turnover this year.
