Job worries keep hospitality workers awake at night

Working in the hospitality sector can be a real nightmare, according to a survey.

Just as worrying, one in eight - 13% - said they never managed to unwind from work and that it was always on their mind.

Nearly two thirds - 62% - said it took them more than an hour each day to unwind from the stresses of their workplace.

Nearly half - 41% - said they took their woes out on friends and family, with 19% admitting that work had been the cause of serious family arguments.

Two-thirds of those polled also said they were currently unhappy at work, with one in five saying they were looking to move jobs in the New Year.

More than half said they wanted to improve their skills to boost their career prospects.
