Let's Eat Again to close after four years

Let's Eat Again, the Perth restaurant owned and run by Tony Heath and Shona Drysdale, is closing on 1 July. The restaurant, which was a sister operation to the long-established Let's Eat, opened in 1998 and offered a more brasserie-style menu than its forebear.

The premises are to be leased to another company and Heath said the move would allow them to focus on Let's Eat in the future. Head chef Graeme Pallister has just returned following a 10-month stint at Restaurant Andrew Fairlie in Gleneagles hotel, Perthshire.

The move follows the publication of statistics last week which revealed that the Scottish hotel and restaurant scene is experiencing three times as many industry closures than in a comparable period last year.
