Silvercases, featured the Trocadero Book, set off beautifully within a selection of its super menu cases. Originally bought in a highly delapidated state, and simply described as ‘Book of Menus, it turned out to be the first banquet book of The Trocadero restaurant, which opened in 1894 in London's Piccadilly. It was the first high class restaurant in the UK - until then you either ate in hotels such as the Savoy (if you could afford it) or in a public house.
