Manson launches club-bar concept

Former music industry technician turned restaurant owner Eamonn Manson is to open a bar and restaurant on London's King's Road.

Mr Manson, who tonight holds the first in a series of parties to launch the Ink Club, also runs the Pen restaurant in Parson's Green, west London.

The Ink Club will house two bars and a 40-seat restaurant, which will be open to the public, offering tapas-style dishes from around the Mediterranean and Pacific Rim.

"The Ink Club will be a stylish place, free of youngsters getting drunk," claimed Mr Manson.

Members, expected to be the glitterati of the media and music industries, will pay an annual fee of £125 for exclusive use of the bars on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.
