Marriott takes over 47 Park St

Marriott Grand Residence Club, a timeshare arm of Marriott International, last week took over management of the 47 Park Street hotel in Mayfair, London.

It was previously owned and managed by ABC Hotels.

The 49-bedrooom building will continue to operate as a luxury hotel until October, when it will close for refurbishment for six weeks. Half the hotel will then reopen.

The building is scheduled to open for owner occupancy in spring 2003, with 33 one-bedroom and 16 two-bedroom flats ranging in price from £85,000 to £202,000 per 28-day ownership period, based on type and season.
