new md and chairman, but dorchester denies change

THE Dorchester hotel in London has denied that it will be affected by changes in the restructuring of assets owned by the Sultan of Brunei's family.

The hotel is owned by the Audley Group which comes under the remit of the Brunei Investment Agency (BIA). The sultan has consented to the restructure of the board of directors.

David Wilkinson, general manager of the Dorchester, said: "The restructure has given us a new managing director and chairman, but we don't feel there will be any changes made."

The sultan's brother, Prince Jefri, has been stripped of his control of overseas assets and his position as chairman of the BIA.
