No fire over smoke

Fears that wood-burning pizza ovens would be banned by the European Commission on health and safety grounds have been allayed by the EC President Romano. He said the commission "has no intention of forbidding or limiting their use". However EHOs in the UK increasingly look for compliance with smoke emission standards and these should be checked before you consider a wood-burning oven.
