One Devonshire Gardens sold for £3m
Glasgow hotel One Devonshire Gardens has been sold for £3m to Residence International, a Scottish company that runs luxury time-share apartments in Edinburgh and Paris.
One Devonshire Gardens was founded by hotelier Ken McCulloch in 1986, although the majority shareholders before the sale were investment company 3i and the Scottish American investment company. The hotel's restaurant is the only one with a Michelin-star in Glasgow.
Residence International said it will upgrade the 27 bedrooms at One Devonshire Gardens. The day-to-day operation of the hotel and restaurant will be unaffected by the change in ownership and staff numbers will remain the same.
