Revolution evolution

Revolution, the chain of Polish vodka bars, is opening a branch in Soho, London, on 24 October. The 2,500sq ft site can hold up to 300 people and will serve more than 90 varieties of vodka. Owners Inventive Leisure have 24 Revolution bars across the UK and plan to open 60 more in the next four years.

City Fish!

The Fish group is due to open a 140-seat restaurant in the City of London on 1 November. The 293sq m site is on a 25-year lease at a starting rent of £115,000 a year. The group plans to have 30 Fish! restaurants by the end of 2002.

Wren's Renata's
Renata's, a 32-seat restaurant offering a modern European menu, opens inside the Christopher hotel, Eton, Berkshire, on 30 October. It is the first restaurant to be launched by the Wren's Hotel Group, which has six UK country house hotels and three hotels in Croatia.

Light Browns

Browns is opening its 14th restaurant on 24 October in the Light Complex, a leisure and shopping centre in Leeds. The 400-seat brasserie is housed in the banking hall of the former Leeds Permanent Building Society. It will be the largest restaurant in the city.
