Who is dictating Government policy on school meals - Jamie Oliver or Tony Blair?

Neither - there seems to be a bit of a Mexican standoff at the moment. Tony Blair was caught on the back foot by Jamie Oliver, but with his usual political smoothness he's recovered his position.
Tim West, chairman, Avenance

Mr Blair would like to feel he is running the show, but school food is such a big issue at the moment that I wouldn't be surprised if he has been forced into saying something. The media has latched on to the story and it has been an excellent trigger for parents.
Cyrus Todiwala, chef-proprietor, CafŽ Spice Namaste

Absolutely Jamie Oliver. This issue has been around for 20 years and his programme has highlighted a massive problem. Good on him - I hope he gets a knighthood.
Sean Valentine, managing director, Missing Ingredients

Gordon Brown, as he's the guy holding the purse strings. However, if it wasn't for Jamie, this whole episode wouldn't have been so publicly highlighted. We all knew it was bad, but no one seemed bothered to do anything about it.
Gary Hunter, head of culinary arts, Westminster Kingsway College
