manager at Forte's Café Royal in Regent Street. He replaces CHRISTOPHER OAKES, now regional general manager for Forte's Heritage hotels in Bath, the Bath Spa and the Francis Hotel.

PAUL DA COSTA GREAVES yesterday left his job as executive chef at city law firm Clifford Chance to take over the Galley, a 30-seat fish and shellfish restaurant in Topsham, Devon, which cost him £180,000.

Century House Hotels has appointed KEVIN KEENAN general manager of Philipburn Country Hotel in Selkirk, Scotland, which it bought from receivership in January and will reopen on 11 May. Keenan was co-manager at the Crown Hotel, Framlingham, Suffolk.
