Robin Easton has been appointed general manager of Simpson's-in-the-Strand, the Savoy group restaurant in London. Easton previously worked for Party Ingredients, the specialist caterer.

Ston Easton Park hotel, near Bath, has recruited Thomas Conboy as general manager. He has worked in France, Germany, Switzerland and Spain, and was manager of the Priory in Bath for 14 years.

Sprowston Manor Hotel in Norwich. He previously held the same position at the George Hotel in Chollerford, Northumberland.

Marisa Aranha has taken up the post of sales and marketing director for Continental Europe at Millennium Hotels and Resorts. For eight years, she was director of sales and marketing at Hyatt Hotels and Resorts.

Alistair Borland has been named operations manager at the Marsh Farm Hotel in Swindon, Wiltshire. He was operations manager at the Cardiff Moat House Hotel.

Libertel Hotels has announced the appointment of Liam Fahey as business sales executive for the UK and Ireland. He spent two years working for Friendly Hotels as travel trade sales executive.

Gregory Bradelle is the new sales manager for marketing, sales and reservations consortium Leading Hotels of the World. He was groups co-ordinator of the consortium's Paris office.
