HELEN ROGERS is the new general manager of the Bridge restaurant in London. She previously worked for MacNabs Wine Bar, also in London.

ULLA VIRKKULA has been appointed to manage sales and marketing for the pre-opening of the Radisson SAS hotel in Galway, Eire. Virkkula previously worked as assistant director of sales for Radisson in Dublin.

St Pierre Park hotel has appointed CHRIS CORNISH as its executive head chef in Guernsey, Channel Islands. He previously worked as head chef at the Aztec hotel in Bristol.

LUCY FRANCHI joins the Normandy hotel, Renfrew, as general manager. Franchi previously worked as general manager of the Stakis hotel, Dundee.

SALLY ROUSE has joined RF Hotels as regional sales manager. She was sales manager at Susan Owen Associates.

Searcy's has appointed NELSON WILLIAMS as general manager at the Barbican Centre, London. Before joining Searcy's, Williams worked as operations director at Moving Venue Caterers.

ALISON MUIR has been appointed human resources manager at hospitality service provider the Chardon group. Muir previously worked as personnel and training manager at Cameron House hotel, Loch Lomond.

STEVEN HILL has left his position as finance director at PizzaExpress to join Madisons Coffee as group finance director.

SARAH DOWSE is to man the meetings and events desk at Etrop Grange hotel near Manchester Airport. She previously studied hospitality management at Oxford Brookes University.

CERI HUGHES has joined recruitment and resourcing consultancy Berkeley Scott Group as client support manager, London hotels division, while SIAN ROBERTS has joined as support manager, retail and restaurants division. Hughes previously worked for Profile Management and Specialist Recruitment, with prior experience at Inter-Continental Hotels and Resorts, Sheraton Hotels, and Kensington Hilton hotel. Roberts's previous job was as assistant general manager with the Bourne Leisure Group at Allhallows Leisure Park in Kent.

ELIZABETH IRONS has joined Macdonald Hotels as director of public relations. Prior to joining the group, Irons managed the Edinburgh office of Barker Public Relations, responsible for the Scottish Tourist Board and Highlands of Scotland Tourist Board account.

DAVID PEASE has been appointed divisional director of Sodexho Citation. He previously worked as general manager for Porfolio Scotland for Sodexho.

LORNA FRAME has taken the job of area sales manager with the Marriott Dalmahoy Hotel & Country Club in Edinburgh. Frame worked with the Norton House hotel as business development manager.

ROBERT MINOTT has joined as general manager of Chartridge Conference Company, near Chesham, Buckinghamshire. Minott previously worked as operations director of Hayley Conference Centres.
