Gibson

Jo Gibson has joined the 301-bedroom London Marriott West India Quay Hotel & Executive Apartments as director of human resources. Jo was previously human resources manager at the London Marriott Hotel Grosvenor Square.

The 118-bedroom Holiday Inn Calais Coquelles hotel in France has welcomed Olivier Houitte as general manager. Olivier joins the hotel, which is undergoing a refurbishment and is due to open early March, from the Ramada Jarvis Farnham, Surrey, where he was operations manager.

Nairns Cook School in Port of Menteith, Scotland, which is run by TV chef and writer Nick Nairn, has recruited a new tutor in preparation for its pending expansion. Alan Mathieson joins the team from Hurricane Restaurants, where he was executive chef.

Domino's Pizza has appointed Robin Auld brand controller. Robin moves to the pizza delivery company from brand consultancy HeadlightVision, where he was senior strategic consultant.

Recruitment consultancy Lister Charles has promoted Steve Johnson to the role of London branch manager. Steve, who joined the company in 2001, was formerly senior recruitment consultant. Also at Lister Charles, Beth Collis has joined the team in Bristol. She leaves her position of assistant front-of-house manager at the Ramada Plaza hotel in Bristol to become a recruitment consultant.

The eight-room Nottingham Touchbase conference centre has recruited Isabel Parkin as manager. Isabel previously worked at haircare products manufacturer Clynol as territory manager.
