A pesto-flavoured olive oil called Tornatore Extra Pesto has joined the range of authentic Italian products being imported by IB Food, formerly known as Italbrokers.
The oil is extra-virgin unfiltered Ligurian, flavoured with basil, pine nuts and Parmigian-Reggiano cheese.
The oil can be used as a dressing for pasta and salads, for drizzling over bread or as a marinade for fish or chicken. It comes in 750ml bottles.

With summer just around the corner and barbecues on its mind, poultry processor Hanna has introduced Chicken Fillet à la Grecque, a 160g frozen chicken fillet coated in a Greek-style seasoning. A defrostedfillet can be barbecued, pan-fried or baked in the oven.

The New Covent Garden Soup Company has added three new flavours to its catering range of soups. They are: Red Pepper with Goats' Cheese; Thai Green Curry with Chicken; and French Onion. The company has also recently launched two organic varieties: Italian Tomato and Rosemary; and Sweet Carrot, Orange and Honey. All the soups are free from additives and preservatives and sold chilled, packed in two-litre tubs.

Customers fed-up with the same, tired sandwich fillings? Oasters is offering an unusual vegetarian filling to break the boredom, based on a classic Italian omelette recipe.
The omelettes are square to fit bread sliced from the traditional oblong British loaf and contain courgettes, spring onion and potato, spiced with garlic and black pepper. Each omelette weighs 100g, is individually frozen and can be served cold or heated in a microwave.
They come in bags of 10 with a shelf life of six months.

Channel hopping
Chicken and Leek Panier is the latest French pasty from Délifrance. The chicken and leek filling is coated in a béchamel sauce flavoured with Emmenthal cheese and can be served as a hand-held snack or as part of a meal.
The paniers are pre-cooked and frozen and packed in cases of 35 x 110g.
