Pop roadshow with a difference

CARTERS Soft Drinks is hitting the road this summer with a sampling programme in the East Midlands region.

Primary schoolchildren in Nottinghamshire and Staffordshire are being given educational packs with Carters Star, the sugar free soft drink, containing safe and easy experiments such as how to make fizzy pop.

Meanwhile, schoolkids in Derbyshire and Leicestershire are receiving sports days packs with free Carters Star. The packs include balloons, badges, finishing tape and whistle. A Carters Star competition is also being organised offering children the chance to "win a star" named after them and a year's supply of Star. All they have to do is design the spaceship that would take them into outerspace.

This promotional activity is being supported with daily and weekly newspaper competitions.
