Radisson to manage new London Docklands hotel
Radisson Edwardian Hotels has just secured a contract to manage a new hotel in London's Docklands.
The group will operate the four-star 169-bedroom riverside hotel in New Providence Wharf under a long-term management contract starting in 2007, when the building is due to be completed.
Jasminder Singh, founder and chairman of REH, said: "We are particularly excited by this project. As a major supplier of deluxe hotel accommodation, we want to continue to provide a comprehensive coverage of London for all our customers.
"There is no doubt that they have a strong need for quality accommodation in one of the world's fastest emerging financial districts."
The eight-storey hotel will include a health spa, brasserie, river-view restaurant with terrace and a cocktail bar. A full range of business facilities including conference, meeting and banqueting rooms are also planned.
Property developers Ballymore own the property.
