Sbarro staff could be among bomb victims
Two members of staff were believed to be among the 15 dead following the bombing of the Sbarro pizza restaurant in Jerusalem last week.
Between 70 and 105 people were wounded when a Palestinian suicide bomber chose the restaurant for a revenge attack on Israel.
Mel Grillo, vice-president general counsel for the US-based pizza chain, said: "The Sbarro family wishes to express its sympathy and condolences to the families of the victims of the terrible tragedy which claimed the lives of Sbarro associates, guests and bystanders at our restaurant in Jerusalem."
He added that the franchise holder of the Jerusalem restaurant was "distraught".
Sbarro has 19 franchised restaurants in Israel and more than 1,000 restaurants worldwide.
Fifteen people were injured on Sunday evening when another suicide bomber detonated explosives strapped to his chest at the Wall Street caf‚ in a northern suburb of Haifa, in Israel.
The radical Islamic Jihad group claimed responsibility for the attack and claimed that it would be sending out more "martyrs".
