Scottish Island guesthouse sold

The Empire Travel Lodge in Lochgilphead, Argyll and Bute in the Western Isles, has been sold for close to £165,000. The former cinema has nine bedrooms and a 20-seat dining room. The previous owners were Eric and Mavis Haysom, and the new owners, Bill and Anne Hunter, have just sold the Plough Inn in nearby Star. Christie & Co was the agent.
