Snow is a hit at Dubai Hotel Show
One of the biggest hotel shows in the Middle East, the Dubai Hotel Show, was held this week.
The three-day event was opened by Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, chairman of Emirates airline and president of Dubai's Department of Civil Aviation. He was accompanied by Joanne Evans, director of organisers Streamline Marketing, and Khalid Bin Sulayem, director-general of Dubai's tourism and commerce department.
Among the stars of the show's exhibition was an artificial snow generator, which its makers hope will find a lucrative market in Dubai, where temperatures can climb above 40°C.
