Sodexho collars police contract

Sodexho, formerly Gardner Merchant, has won the £1m-a-year-turnover contract to provide catering and cleaning at 57 police stations belonging to Lothian and Borders Police.

Direct service organisation Edinburgh Direct currently provides the catering, while cleaning is done in-house.

Sodexho takes over in April and will also provide some gardening and reception services.
