Soft drinks market swells

Market leader CCSB has introduced its Soft Drinks Market Profile 1995, which reflects on 1994 as a year of growth.

CCSB's own volume in total soft drinks increased by 10%, selling more than 9 billion litres in 1994, and saw a growth of 13% in the on-premise sector.

The core target market of 12-25-year-olds, instead of drinking tea and coffee as with previous generations, is expected to be drinking 50% more soft drinks a year by 2000, now that the leisure market has returned to growth.
