Southampton hotel sold for £6.2m

Chilworth Manor, a 95-bedroom hotel and conference centre in Southampton, has been bought by Alder Hospitality Management (AHM) for £6.2m.

AHM is a new company set up by four former directors of Andrew Weir Hotels - Peter Bondi, David Lewis, Bill Bailey and John Cove. Chilworth Manor has ten meeting rooms, two conference suites and 12 acres of gardens. The new owners plan to develop a new 5,000sqft leisure facility.
