Space Catering will show you much more of the industry

Space Catering, the Gloucester catering equipment supplier, is planning a saucy calendar of catering industry personalities to launch its website in the New Year.

Managing director Mike Mellor said the idea was creating a stir and he hoped it would give the website - www.cateringwarehouse.com - a big boost when it went live on 1 January next year.

"I'm sure many of us will see colleagues we know and love in a whole different light," he added

The catering industry's answer to the film The Calendar Girls has already attracted some willing participants, including Andrew Moore, owner of the Really Wild Meat Company, the whole brigade of the Aquarium restaurant in Nottingham, and staff from the Eden Project in Cornwall.

He hoped that others would step forward, particularly as all proceeds from the calendar would go to the hospitality charity Springboard UK.
