Springboard teams up with HCIMA

STEPHEN Moss, (pictured left) chairman of employment and training service Springboard, and Jeremy Logie, chief executive of the Hotel, Catering and Insitutional Management Association (HCIMA), are looking to a way forward for the two organisations under a new partnership agreement.

Springboard has signed up to the HCIMA's Hospitality Partnership, a charter which promotes stronger links between education and business, and the HCIMA has joined Springboard's Partnership Scheme, demonstrating its commitment to the career centre's education liaison programme.

A spokeswoman for Springboard said the partnership was also designed to show the industry that its quangos and associations could work together in a cohesive way. She said joint programmes may well be developed from the partnership.
