Tea holds key to after dinner success
OVER half (58 per cent) of consumers would prefer a cup of tea after dinner compared to 33 per cent, who said they would choose coffee, according to a survey from Twinings.
The company has several ideas on how to meet this need:
Grand Marnier and Lady Grey Tea, 263 - follow a Mediterranean meal with a sweet liqueur like Grand Marnier and serve it with Lady Grey tea - a light China tea.
Port & Earl Grey Tea - try pairing port with Earl Grey tea, 264. The sweetness of port is balanced by the crisp taste of Earl Grey tea. Lapsang Souchong Tea, 265, is an alternative to Earl Grey which goes well with stilton cheese.
