Terrace theme remains for Rostang's reopening

Michel Rostang, the French Michelin-starred chef opening a bistro in London's Le Méridien hotel, Piccadilly, has decided not to make any changes to the name of the restaurant.

The hotel's Terrace Garden (pictured above) will reopen on 15 March as the Terrace, following a refurbishment programme.

In the run-up to the grand opening, staff of the former restaurant have been receiving training at Rostang's Paris restaurant (Caterer, 21 January, page 14).

Diners are expected to spend around £32 at lunch and £37 at dinner on average.

The 126-seat bistro will operate just one floor above the three Michelin-starred Oak Room, run by Marco Pierre White.
