Toby Hill says goodbye to Lords of the Manor

Toby Hill has left his position as head chef at Lords of the Manor in Upper Slaughter, Gloucestershire. It is believed that he left the luxury country house hotel last week.

Hill joined the hotel in December 2001. In 2003 the restaurant, which he oversaw, was demoted from four to three AA rosettes. Earlier this year the restaurant lost its Michelin star, which it had held for 10 years.

The chef is rumoured to have taken a lease on a property in the Cotswolds area.

No one at the hotel was available for comment as Caterer went to press.
