Troy resigns as Le Méridien UK boss
Tony Troy, the UK and Ireland regional managing director of luxury hotel group Le Méridien, has resigned.
Le Méridien said the departure was "amicable" and that Troy would remain as regional managing director until a successor is appointed. It was not releasing further details at the time of writing.
Troy was previously managing director of UK-based Principal Hotels, which was bought by Japanese investment bank Nomura in January 2001 for £255m.
He was promoted to his current post in July last year after Nomura bought Le Méridien from Compass in a £1.9b deal.
