Vienna moves into Oxford

The Vienna Group is set to buy the 70-bedroom Linton Lodge Hotel in Oxford, its first property outside London.

Contracts have been signed and completion of the sale - at a price understood to be over the £4.5m asking price - is scheduled for early December.

The hotel is the third Hilton property sold by parent company the Ladbroke Group since six hotels were put up for sale through Christie & Co in May.
