Wagamama plans supermarket push

Wagamama, the Japanese-style restaurant chain, plans to produce ready-made meals and sauces for sale in shops and supermarkets.

Director Ian Neill said: "It would be an excellent way of reinforcing the brand in areas where a restaurant doesn't exist."

Wagamama has been in consultation with food manufacturers.
