Michael Bonsor named hotel manager at Rosewood London
Michael Bonsor has been names hotel manager at Rosewood London, which opens next month following an £85m renovation.
The 1914 Edwardian grade II listed building in High Holborn, previously the Chancery Court hotel, is set to open on 15 October.
Bonsor joins the property with more than 15 years' experience in luxury hotel management having begun his career at the Four Seasons in several locations in the USA, during which time he was director of restaurants for the launch of Michelin-starred restaurant L'Atelier de Joel Robuchon at the Four Seasons in New York.
Most recently Bonsor was at Claridge's, first as food & beverage manager and latterly as hotel operations manager.
Commenting on his new appointment, Bonsor said: "I am thrilled to have joined Rosewood London and look forward to unveiling this iconic building in October. Rosewood London will very much be a living canvas, celebrating artistry in every form.
"It's an incredibly unexpected hotel that will offer lasting memories to those who pass its threshold and I look forward to soon welcoming guests through its historic entrance."
