Sodexo secures contract with National Trust for Scotland
Sodexo has won a contract to deliver event catering and hospitality at two National Trust for Scotland venues in the west of Scotland.
The year-long partnership brings Edwardian country house Pollok House, near Glasgow, and Ayrshire's Culzean Castle to the Sodexo Prestige Venues & Events portfolio of heritage venues.
Other Scottish venues within the firm's portfolio include Dundas Castle, Blair Castle and the National Museum of Scotland.
As part of the new contract Sodexo will design bespoke banqueting packages in line with each venue's target markets. The team will also provide sales and marketing support, as well as event management for weddings, corporate bookings and private gatherings.
Sandy Robson, account director at Sodexo Prestige Venues & Events, said: "This is a very exciting opportunity for us; we have built up a strong reputation with heritage properties in Scotland over the years and this new partnership will enable us to expand our presence in the west coast."
Pietro Cecchini, head of travel trade & hospitality at the National Trust for Scotland, added: "Commercial partnerships such as these are essential to our charity's income generation. They enable us to fulfil our core conservation objectives by introducing our unique venues to new audiences."
