More than half a million for the Bruce Hotel

The Bruce Hotel in Newton Stewart, Wigtownshire has sold for more than £500,000. Previous owners, Steve and Sarah Donnan, significantly revamped the hotel, increasing the already impressive trade. The property features 20 en suite letting bedrooms, a completely refurbished reception area, lounge bar and a restaurant with 100 covers. In addition, the hotel offers a conference room, which accommodates about 60 people and a small boardroom. New owners, Paul Clark and Eileen O'Grady plan to fully exploit the substantial investment made by their predecessors. The agent was Christie and Co.
