Café concession - Watersports Centre Café Nene Park Peterborough

Nene Park, a 1725 acre country park stretching 6 miles along the Nene Valley, is widely heralded as one of the jewels in Peterborough's crown.

As part of Nene Park Trust's 10 year strategic plan, the existing Watersports Centre complex is being completely refurbished in a £2.5m project. The redeveloped site will include a new café and function space, a Watersports Centre with retail space, and a cycle hire operation.

The new café will include internal seating space of 100m2, a function room measuring 64m2 and the majority of an external lakeside decking area in excess of 400m2. All this will be supported by approximately 125m 2 of kitchen and storage space.

The Trust wishes to appoint an experienced caterer to operate the café on a leased basis and to fully realise the enormous opportunity this redevelopment represents. It is envisaged that the café will provide a range of homemade or locally sourced light meals and snacks.

The five year lease, commencing in early March 2014, will be offered to the individual or company demonstrating the best overall business plan for the café.

For an information pack and a pre-qualification questionnaire, contact Fiona Boyd-Thorpe at Boyd-Thorpe Associates on 01491 411735 or by email at fiona@boyd-thorpe-associates.co.uk

The completed pre-qualification questionnaire must be returned to the above address no later than 5 pm on Friday 31st May 2013.
