Guildhall Winchester
Guildhall Winchester is situated in the heart of one of England's most beautiful historic cities, the venue boast some of the largest event spaces in the district and couples the traditional splendour of its exterior with a conference and banqueting centre.
The Guildhall is a grade II listed building owned and managed by Winchester City Council. There are ten rooms available for hire, providing flexible accommodation for a wide range of corporate, civic, community and private events.
The Tender: To compliment the in-house catering, Winchester City Council is offering a banqueting services framework, zero based contracts which will commence on 1st April 2014 and run until 31st March 2018 with an option to extend for further periods of up to one year at the sole discretion of the council. The council is now seeking expressions of interest from suitable catering companies / providers for the provision of Banqueting services for events e.g. weddings /partnerships, dinner dances, charity balls and celebrity dinners, to be included on a framework contract of 5 / 7 contractors, which will reflect variation of price, style, cultural, international diversity and service provisions.

A copy of the draft contract specification will be sent out with the questionnaire.
Completed questionnaires must be returned no later than noon on 5th November 2013, following which Winchester City Council will draw up a short list of companies from which it will invite tenders. Full tender documents will be issued to companies on the short list.
